Rest In Peace DJ AM

Club-owner and celebrity scratcher Adam Goldstein, who was far better known by the moniker DJ AM, was found dead Friday in his New York apartment, E! News has confirmed. He was 36.

Details have been sparse so far, but the New York Fire Department has confirmed that a body was discovered at Goldstein's Lafayette Street address at 5:24 p.m. and was pronounced dead at 6 p.m. The body was not transported from the scene afterward.

The New York Post, citing NYPD insiders, have reported that drug paraphernalia was found near the body. Officials have said they found no evidence of foul play.

"Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein was found deceased this afternoon in his New York City apartment," read a statement released by the late artist's rep. "The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time."

A neighbor told E! News that there were police at the scene when she returned home this afternoon.

"I came home and there were police cars everywhere. My doorman told me someone died in 7A and I knew who it was," she said. "The whole front of the building is filled with police blocking if off with barricades."

"I know he has been here for the last week and a half, but I haven't seen him," she added.

Goldstein, who along with Travis Barker survived a fiery plane crash that killed four others last year, had recently finished shooting an eight-episode series for MTV about addiction, Gone Too Far, in which he opened up about his past struggles with substance abuse.

Within minutes of the news breaking, Barker's ex, Shannon Moakler, had tweeted: "My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends."

HOW WAS EVERYONES FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL??... and for those of you that didnt start school yet... tell me bout it when it comes lol. Wellllll, mines was pretty good, especially that it was my first day in HIGHSCHOOL! =] haha. But i got lost so many times, i was like "OH SHIT, im goin the wrong way" lol, then my friends would call me a dumass haha. But its straight. I saw maaadddd shoes i wanted. I said to myself "lucky ass sons of b****es" haha. I guess you could say i was jealous haha. And all these dumb teachers are given me binders and shit to get and wont accept regular folders!, dont they know i gotta stay freshhh? lol =D. So annoying. But still happy as hell to be in highschool finally and get on with my life lol. Well im done here sooo, have a nice day everyone lol. Peaceee!

School... Already?

Well guys, as you can already tell from the title.. my school starts tomorrow (Monday, August 24). Kinda excited i guess... cause its my first day of highschool or whatever lol. But yea, kinda glad to go back, see some friends i havent seen over the summer and stuff like that. DEFINITELY not excited bout the work thats coming my way lol, but gotta live with it. And having all this school stuff said, that obviously means i wont be able to blog as much =[... i think lol. I might have some time after school to come on and blog.. thats if im not tired lol. But i bet i can on the first few days because usually homework isnt given out that much on the first few days of school. So thats a good thing. Ill let everyone know how my day went, if i was nervous, excited, happy, sad, etc. Lol you get the point sooo... GOOD LUCK to everyone on their school year this year, get good grades, make the right choices, pick the right friends and crowd to chill with. And remember, STAY IN SCHOOL! haha. Thats what everyone says so im just passin the message along haha. Sooo, thats about it. Just keep following me cause i promise, just cause schools starting, doesnt mean ill be slackin on this blog haha.
